Culinary Program and everything that comes with it!

When I tell people i'm in the culinary program the response I get is "Wow, that's so cool!" Which it is, don't get me wrong, but nobody realizes that the price is not "Wow, that's so cool!" In fact, it sucks. Not only is it an extra $1,500 bucks on top of tuition but each one of our books cost around $100 on top of our very attractive and pricey uniforms. You would think that you could buy one uniform and get away with it but no, you need at least 4 to get you through the week. So, since I haven't been priviledged with wealthy parents, I get to figure out how to pay for school all on my own. Not only is it expensive but i'm in classes 8-5 almost everyday with pills of homework leaving no time to get a job. So how am I going to pay for my car, rent, insurance, gas, food, and other expenses? It's called a student loan. Not just one, but 3. I have always had a thing about getting into debt and how it would never be me but this semester has changed my mind. So debt here I come but at least i'll have my educattion, right?
