They Just did it
I went to the Nike website and was at first a little confused by what I saw. Was that a bad thing. At first you would think so. However when you become confused you often become curious. Pretend you walk into the room just as someone finishes a story and the room bursts into laughter over the closing line. In your head that phrase has no significance and is not funny. Suddenly you forget why you entered the room in the first place and instead need to know what that story was. I was struck with this desire as the Nike web site finished loading and a man with what I guessed to be scales was looking back at me. I thought to myself hmm....... Some sort of lizard man.....what are they trying to say? I was intrigued I must admit and so I pressed the play button and one commercial later I realized it was advertising a new type of padding with hexagons on it. With my curiosity sated I was able to appreciate the proposed merchandise Having been lured into viewing the commercial and appreciating the strength and speed and determination depicted by the player who in contrast completely demoralized the other players lacking something. What was that something? Well it was Nike's Scale like football pads. I think this ad was very effective at drawing me in and intriguing me. I might just have to get me some scale skin.
